I originally started my pony comic back in 2007 and morphed it into an ask blog thanks to Tumblr. I enjoy drawing my ‘versions’ of MLP characters but… I keep writing myself into corners and I can’t come up with compelling/funny/witty answers that I think people would enjoy. I think the people who have long standing blogs who can draw AND write are amazing! Drawing is only half an ask blog. Being able to write makes a huge difference!

Wow, yes, I totally agree and think about this all the time.
Congrats on making front page of EQD with your AJ gif :D
Haha. Well hey, how about that.
(and it’s even sourced to boot. Go Calpain!)
Do you really dislike Jade?
Aww, its just a joke. I mean, who could be mad at this face?
Finally! now she can die and you can be done with her :P
Geez, well that escalated quickly.
I mean, at least it froze fast enough that she didn't drown, that's kinda good, right? Right?
Yeah, that sure is a thing!
Did you just fill her jar with water and put her in the freezer?
Why anon, I’m offended, that would be mean!
Jade's pretty cool yo. I don't know why you hate her so much.
I guess she is pretty cool
Do you keep a playlist of stuff to listen to while drawing?
I actually don’t, since I don’t really listen to music all that often. When I draw I’m usually either watching things on youtube, or listening to a podcast/audiobook.
When I *do* listen to music my tastes are so broad that it’s probably better to list what I *don’t* listen to. I like everything - classical, orchestral, rap, rock, pop, alternative, folk, game soundtracks, swing, electronic, dubstep, latin, jazz, etc. I tend to just fire up spotify and let it go. However, one of my favourite things are ‘mashups’ for example Bambooyah! (which actually also has a PMV)
You are single-handedly responsible for convincing me to draw. And you know what? I'm not as utterly horrible as I thought I would be. I would go on as to why I used to really hate drawing, but tumble has a character limit. Thank you, you really don't know how much you've changed my life.
Aww, well thank you random anon, that’s really made my day.
Drawing isn’t an easy path to take, but it’s incredibly rewarding, and I’m really glad that you think it’s worth the effort! Congratulations on your foray into the world of drawing, and I wish you many years of art-related fun-times.
